Our History
After graduating from the University of Minnesota, I began my career at a Big Six accounting firm. We were the first to perform reverse audits. As the practice expanded and more competitors entered the market, the focus quickly shifted from assisting clients to generating revenue. I decided to leave the big firm and start Affeldt Consulting against the advice of my colleagues. We have saved our clients hundreds of millions of dollars while also providing excellent service through a cost-effective strategy since 1994.
Affeldt Consulting’s practice has grown to include many of the Upper Midwest’s largest corporations. We have multi-state experience and frequently consult across the country. We provide a variety of services with the goal of saving our clients money. We have saved our clients over $200 million over the years, and that figure is still growing! Our clients’ income levels range from less than $10 million to more than $30 billion per year.
We have acquired large clients as a result of our impeccable reputation, and we have retained these clients for the long term due to our low fee structure and superior service.
